Cross Country – 2010 NXN Northwest Regional

A few images from the Nike Cross Northwest Regionals XC Championships at Eagle Island State Park near Boise, ID on November 13, 2010. Great competition with the top teams and runners from Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming. Thanks for stopping by to take a look. -Gregg

Katie Knight of North Central (Spokane, Washington) sets a new course record of 17:34.0 during the girl’s championship race.

Chris Jessop crawls towards the finish line during the boy’s championship race. Jessop injured in the final 20 meters and unable to run, still finished the race in 18:20.3.

Travis Neuman (#670) and Jake Meeker congratulate each other shortly after finishing the boy’s varsity race. Meeker finished in 16:20.4 to win the race and Neuman in 16:33.6 to place second in a race field of 219 runners.
