Highland senior Dallin Farnsworth gets out fast during the start of the Idaho High School Cross Country State Championships 5A boys race at Eagle Island State Park on October 29, 2011. Farnsworth posted the fastest time of the meet (15:40.58) on the way to winning his second straight individual state title.
Bishop Kelly senior Emily, Kuna’s Sierra Manzer and Jerome’s Mikesell Clegg lead the pack during the first mile of the Idaho High School State Cross Country Championships 4A girl’s race. Nist posted the fastest girl’s time of the meet (18:34.98), won her third individual state title and lead her team to its third straight team title. Manzer finished second (19:00.62) and Clegg third (19:11.12).
